Help End the Stigma of Mental Health! Submit your Story.

Monday, Feb 12th - Monday, Apr 1st Free

We live in a society where a lot of change has happened to decrease the stigma of talking about mental health and… it still exists.

Want to be a part of the movement to further reduce this stigma and normalize talking about your experiences with mental health? Consider submitting your story here for the Office of Case Management’s annual event: Keep Talking; End the Stigma.

Keep Talking is a live, storytelling event which seeks to further reduce the stigma of discussing mental health by inviting individuals to share their stories and experiences related to mental health. Keep Talking is modeled after The Moth podcast and welcomes storytelling, spoken word, slam poetry, songs and other performances that represent your story. The submission portal opened February 12th and will close on April 1st.

Nervous about sharing your story in front of an audience but still passionate about normalizing the discussion of mental health? All story submissions have the option to remain anonymous and be read by an Office of Case Management staff member at the event. You have the option to have your name published in connection to your story or remain completely anonymous.

If you do not wish to submit a story, please consider attending the live event on April 17th; there will be free catered food, resources, swag giveaways and an opportunity to form community with other individuals who are passionate about ending the stigma of discussing mental health.

If you have questions about this event, submitting a story or performance proposal, or would like help brainstorming, please reach out to Rachel.sarachman@ucdenver.edu in The Office of Case Management.
