View mapExplore and develop self-expression on individual topics ranging from tedious monotony to racial tension, environmental issues, and mental health. Artist Jeff Becker has a creative history working as a director and PAW workshop participants collectively embark on personal discovery with the artist in indoor/outdoor spaces to formulate and communicate with performance art individually and as collective groups. Workshop participation is open to all students over three days.
Drop in times for these workshops are as follows:
2/22 2:30-3:30pm
2/23 9am-11am; 4pm-5pm
2/24 10am-noon; 1:30-3:30pm
Performances are invited to be delivered during Performance Art Week TEN at Emmanuel Art Gallery, March 1 & 2, 2022 (application form required). Performance Art Week (PAW) is in its tenth year. A celebration of live art, PAW integrates into student research and involves artists from across Colorado to express creatively with body, dance, sound, and an evening of projection at the D&F Tower, for PAW Xtra Large.
