Responsible Employee Training
As a Responsible Employee, what do you do when information about potential discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, or related concern comes to you?
Join the Office of Equity for an interactive session focused on understanding your Responsible Employee reporting requirements and what to do when information comes to you. We’ll discuss what information must be reported to the Office of Equity, how to respond when someone raises a concern, how to document and report what you know without investigating or drawing conclusions, and how to connect yourself and others with support and resources.
You have a requirement to report. You also have a responsibility for how you respond.
Participants will have opportunities to ask questions and work through applied scenarios that put these responsibilities into practice. The session will also introduce what happens after the Office of Equity receives a report, available support and resolution options, and current Office of Equity and policy updates.
This session is open to all, including students, faculty, staff, and affiliates.
Registration is required.
We can all play a role in supporting learning and working environments in which community members have equitable access to educational and employment opportunities. The Office of Equity is committed to advancing this shared responsibility across CU Denver. Visit our website to learn more.
