Dr. Lindsay Poirier is an Assistant Professor of Statistical and Data Sciences at Smith College and a cultural anthropologist of data advocacy, governance and infrastructure.In this talk they will outline a series of pedagogical approaches to teaching cultural analysis of datasets within the context of STEM education.
