Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) is a movement that ignites women leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to initiate startups and drive economic expansion worldwide. Internationally, 144 countries and 65 universities and colleges celebrate WED (plus, a growing global legion of 333 global ambassadors activated in every continent). The WED 2022 Colorado Summit will be hosted by lead sponsor, the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship at the CU Denver Business School.

Young women, ages 15 to 22, from throughout Colorado will have the opportunity to meet and learn from successful female entrepreneurs. These are business owners of all ages in a variety of industries. The day opens with an empowering keynote address followed by breakout sessions in the morning, a lunchtime keynote, and a group leadership workshop after lunch. The day closes with a panel discussion and Q&A on using social media to grow a business.

Female entrepreneurs will join the summit attendees during lunch. This will provide attendees with an opportunity to network and have one-on-one conversations with business owners, role models, and potential mentors they otherwise might not get a chance to meet.
