North Classroom Building was designed by Hoover Berg Desmond and opened in 1987. The building totals 257,500 gross square feet and is one of the largest buildings on the campus. It is home to the College of Engineering and Applied Science, Department of Psychology, Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Department of Physics and Department of Ethnic Studies. Offices for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are also located in the building. You cannot miss the distinctive clocks on the outside of North Classroom Building. Inside, you’ll find classrooms, lecture halls, and several common areas to study between classes. This is a shared space for the Auraria Campus
