The four-story, 285,821-square-foot Science Building is situated with downtown Denver to the east and spectacular mountain views to the west. This building houses state-of-the-art labs, offices and classrooms for the Department of Anthropology, Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, Department of Integrative Biology and Department of Chemistry. Students can take a break from studying at the Science Building’s café or enjoy the view out the floor-to-ceiling windows. Make sure to take a moment to view the mesmerizing butterfly sculpture, “Psyche” by artist Donald Lipski created from over 30,000 colored test tubes. This is a shared space for the Auraria Campus.
